Mid America Freedom Band Announces 23rd Season: For All

The Mid America Freedom Band (MAFB), Kansas City’s LGBTQ+ and allied concert band, proudly announces its 23rd season, For All. This season of powerful storytelling, joyful resistance, and unforgettable performances reimagines what America can sound like — when it truly sings for all.

Founded in 2002, MAFB continues to bring together musicians from across the metro to perform diverse and dynamic programs that celebrate inclusion, pride, and community. Season 23 features four full-length concert band performances and a four-concert series by the Mighty Mo Jazz Orchestra (MMJO).

Mighty Mo Jazz Orchestra 2025–2026 Season: All That We Are

The Mighty Mo Jazz Orchestra invites audiences to a free concert series celebrating jazz traditions, global influences, and the unifying spirit of music. All performances will be held at the Undercroft, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
