Press Release: MAFB Issues Challenge to San Francisco Pride Band
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over Baltimore Sunday, Jan. 28, pits them against the San Francisco 49ers for Super Bowl LVIII. And so the Mid America Freedom Band of Kansas City threw down the gauntlet challenging the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band to a friendly wager and they accepted.
When Kansas City inevitably wins, the SFLGFB will perform and post either “Kansas City,” by Leiber and Stoller, or a chart by Taylor Swift or Janelle Monáe.
In the unlikely event the 49ers prevail, MAFB will perform and post “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” by Tony Bennet, or a chart by Journey or another San Francisco artist.
